With the growing success of the European Poker Tour, Poker Stars has launched its next great poker tour, the Asian Pacific Poker Tour (APPT).
The inaugural tour will have 3 stops across Asia and the Pacific which will include tournaments in Manilla, Phillipines, Seoul, Korea and Sydney, Australia.
The first event in Manilla will take place on August 24 - 26th and will feature newly minted Poker Stars endorser Daniel Negreanu. Negreanu is one of pokers top players and has been featured on many poker television shows such as Poker SuperStars on Fox and High Stakes Poker on the GSN network.
As usual Poker Stars is offering up multiple chances for players to qualify for these APPT events via online poker satellite tournaments. Poker players can enter $22 satellites, which run daily, to try to win their $5,000 buy in package to any of the 3 APPT events.
