Where most poker portals and directories mainly promote the online poker sites themselves, Poker Satellite Center brings you the best in poker tournaments and big-money events no matter what the site.
For example, Poker Satellite Center presents event calendar listings of all the World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour Satellites you can find online. Get your seat in the most coveted, most revered land-based poker tournaments by clicking through to any of the satellite listings in the calendars here. And these boards detail not only the poker sites hosting the satellites and the respective dates and times, but the buy-in, the prize pool, and should you not yet belong to the particular poker site in question, the deposit bonus available to you should you sign up there now.
Keen that most online poker players have their eyes on the prize, that being the bragging rights that come from noteworthy participation in the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour events, Your Poker Tour even hosts two active user discussion groups on the subject: a WPT forum and a WSOP forum, as thorough satellite FAQs.
One of the most recent big-money developments promoted on Poker Satellite Center, for example, is the Moscow Millions, a $10,000 buy-in, land-based No Limit Holdem tournament hosted by premier poker site Full Tilt Poker with satellite qualifiers offered on the site throughout the year between now and the date of the grand event in mid-October.
Poker Satellite Center also publishes the most detailed online poker reviews you’ve ever seen, with information on the games offered, the features and quality of poker software used, the amount and ability-levels of players at the site, the current signup bonus and other bonuses, and the site’s banking options.
Find the The Poker Fish

A comprehensive poker resource if ever there was one, The Poker Fish is host to enough poker site reviews, online poker tips, and poker strategy guides to turn any school of poker fish into online poker sharks.
The poker room reviews here are nothing if not thorough. Let’s use the Absolute Poker review as an example. First, The Poker Fish shows three screenshots of the site, including one from the Absolute Poker lobby and one from an actual Absolute Poker table. Next the Absolute Poker review notes that Absolute Poker is among the increasingly scant few US poker sites.
From there, The Poker Fish goes on to give a quick glimpse at:
- all the games offered there (Holdem, Omaha Hi & Hi/Lo, 7 Stud Hi & Hi/Lo, 1 on 1, Single & Multi Table Tournaments)
- the quality of players there (in the case of Absolute Poker, a wide variety with lots of fish at the lower levels)
- the minimum deposit (in this case, $25)
- the Absolute Poker bonus (visit The Poker Fish to find out)
- and the Bonus Requirements (see above)
From there, the Absolute Poker Review (as with all the poker reviews on The Poker Fish) gives a pair of bullet point assessments of the site’s Pros (such as up to 40 daily freerolls) and Cons (such as a 9-player table limit). The poker room reviews then give additional details about the site’s bonus and tournament offerings, followed by a commentary filling in whatever details the rest of the review leaves out.
The fact that The Poker Fish easily and overtly identifies which poker rooms are US poker sites is a feature not to be overlooked as recent US gambling laws make it harder than ever for American players to sit in at some of the more popular and high stakes poker tables online (a bummer for both the American players themselves as well as those outside the country wanting to take any US fish for all they’re worth). At last count, there were no less than a dozen US poker sites featured on The Poker Fish for US players (and their would-be predators) to enjoy.
The Poker Fish also gives visitors a clear idea of which poker sites are worth even more than meets the eye with superior poker bonuses, highlighting those sites that offer the best bonuses. Among the latest and most generous of these are the Bodog Poker Bonus and the Pokerstars Marketing Code.
Beyond these offerings, The Poker Fish also does all it can to make its visitors the least likely to be singled out as the fish at their given poker tables. Starting with the basics - Hand Rankings, Starting Hands, and Texas Holdem Rules - The Poker Fish makes sure you have your fundamentals down before introducing you to a bevy of advanced techniques for raking in the chips.

Everyone with a Bounty, what a way to warm up your poker mind, and Full Tilt is the only one with it. Sit down to the virtual poker table, and everyone has a bounty! Full Tilt calls is a Brawl, in my opinion it is more of a slaying as every player is potential for more cash, rapidly in your account.
Every Sunday at 2pm ET or 19:00 GMT a 240 + 16 dollar event is held with a prize pool no less than 100 thousand dollars. Every player you face at the table is worth at least another 40 dollars, and so are you. Knock out your opponent, the money is instantly deposited into your FullTiltPoker.com account. Knock out the top Sunday Brawl Player, who is Micheal Craig this week, and gain free entry into next weeks Sunday Brawl Poker Event. He has a run of 15 knock outs. Keep pace and play to win, and you will not be paying anyone else’s reward bounty, instead you will rapidly increase the bankroll for the later Sunday Events, like the Sunday Mulligan.

Great name for a Great Promo! Full Tilt Poker’s Team has done it again! They have established a fantastic daily event with high pay out.
Players will find that registering for two almost simultaneous tournaments will be a challenge but the pay out would be well worth it. One dollar from each of the 10+2 buy in events goes toward the following day’s progressive jackpot. If you win in both tournaments you’re looking at a wealth of bankroll flowing your way. First you rake in your tournament winnings, both tournaments, as soon as the events end. Follow that up with the Double Win, which pays 75% of the jackpot for the day, combined with the Double Final Table paying out an additional 20% of the day’s jackpot. Not to hold anyone back from incredible bankroll increases, win the Best Double Finish, which pays an additional 2% for the achievement. Not so bad for a two-table tournament play.
Due to the low buy in, Satellites are not associated with this daily double, however they will be used to lead into some of the largest event packages available at FullTiltPoker.com
