Robert Perkins Wins Full Tilt $750,000 Guarantee

Easter weekend did not stop online players from competing in their favorite Full Tilt Poker weekly guaranteed tournaments as 3,626 players logged on to compete in last night’s $750,000 guaranteed tournament. The field created a first place prize of $132,787.50 and it was Robert “perky264” Perkins who outlasted the field and took down the win.
When final table play began, Perkins was third in chips under Tokmak and Oscar Kroon. Kroon was in the lead and the top three players would hold on to their lead until play got down to the final four players. Tokmak played strong but only made it to fourth place while LtDansLegs managed to hold on a little longer going out in third.
That let Kroon and Perkins to battle it out in heads up play. Kroon held a slight lead over Perkins but Perkins soon gained the lead. On the final hand Kroon raised and Perkins re-raised to cause Kroon to go all in. Kroon held A-K while Perkins had K-Q. The board fell 6-3-Q-5-4 and Kroon was out in second place.
