The Full Tilt Sunday Brawl may not have had as many players competing as the larger guaranteed tournaments but it was still able to draw a little over two thousand competitors. Players had to pony up $240 plus $16 to play in the event which created a prize pool of $426,000.
With such a large prize pool, the first place winner, janthej6 was able to take home $86,822.70 while second place still earned $56,232. Not bad for a few hours of game play. Several known internet poker tournament players did well in the competition but were unable to make the final table.
Those notable finishers were: Brandon Adams in 98th place, Benjamin “TheStein” Zamani in 62nd place, Wade Woefuel in 53rd, Randy Haddox in 28th, Jonas Klausen in 23rd, Brent Hanks in 17th and Danny “THE_D_RY” in 13th.
When heads up play began it was Amktopo5676 against janthej6. Amktopo5676 was unable to hold off Janthej6 and was knocked out in 2nd place, leaving janthej6 to enjoy the win.
