It seems every week we report a slight overlay at Full Tilt Poker’s weekly $750,000 Guaranteed online poker tournament, and why stop now? Yet another field of about 3,600 took to the tables this Sunday, resulting in a $22,600 addition to the pot, directly from Full Tilt Poker’s pocket, to cover the $750k GP.
Last weekend’s action was jam-packed with skilled maneuvers and sudden bust-outs as “sistabossen” whittled through the competition for a 1st place victory. After 9 hours and 4 minutes of unbridled cardroom conflict, “sistabossen” emerged from the dust cloud $132k richer.
The final table consisted of some highly experienced, veteran online poker players, including “KenRetaard” of Sweden, who went heads-up against “sistabossen” only to bust out in 2nd place for $80k. Just two weeks back, “KenRetaard” claimed a 3rd place cash of more than $50,000 at a $500k GP tourney, under his PokerStars nickname, “Skämmes”.
Coming in 3rd at the www.FullTilt.com $750k GP was “HojoMofo” of Brooklyn, New York. This esteemed online poker player has brought in well over $40,000 this year in Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars online poker tournaments combined.
