909 players registered for the $300 plus 20 buy-in event which created a prize pool of $272,700. 100 spots were paid with first place earning just under $60,000. Not every player competing paid the large buy-in. some players earned their spot via qualifying tournaments.

Titan Poker to Begin WSOP Satellites

Beginning at the end of March, Titan Poker will be holding Super Satellites for players to qualify for specific side events at this year’s World Series of Poker. Players at Titanpoker.com can win seats to WSOP No Limit Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha and Side Events.

Players who win the prize packages will be awarded travel and spending money as well as their buy-in and registration fees paid. On March 29th Titan Poker will begin Super Satellites for the No Limit Texas Hold’em event #57.

Beginning in May, players will be able to compete in Super Satellites to win a package to the World Championship of Pot-Limit Omaha and Side Events #28 and #34. Each package offers players a specific amount for travel and accommodations. The Pot-Limit Omaha and Hold’em events both have buy-ins of $10,000 and the Side Events have buy-ins of $200 plus $15.

Each event takes place in June when the 2009 World Series of Poker begins. Harrah’s Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada will of course play host. Players are sure to be flocking to Titan poker to try their luck at winning one of the prize packages available.

Titan Poker Announces $2.5M GTD Coming In March

A recent press releases issued by TitanPoker.com, the flagship of the iPoker Network, revealed the online poker room’s intentions to host a phenomenally lucrative poker tournament worth $2,500,000 Guaranteed. The extraordinary event is scheduled to take place in March 2009.
