Titan Poker was more than happy to announce the schedule of its upcoming European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP). Now in its third installment, the overall guaranteed prize pools and length of the series, much to the delight of online poker players, have both been increased. The schedule has been upped to 14 days worth of events, paying out a minimum of $4.15 million throughout.
TitanPoker.com hosted the first ECOOP in December of 2007, featuring $2.5 million in guaranteed prizes over 10 days worth of events. The second season jumped to $3.6 million over ten days. The ECOOP III will begin November 24 and run through December 7, 2008, carrying 14 daily events and $4.15 million up for grabs.
To kick off the ECOOP III action on day one, Titan Poker is hosting a $200+$15 NLHE tournament with a guaranteed prize pool f $250,000. Aside from the ECOOP III Main Event, the largest GP will come on day seven, boasting a $500,000 GTD NLHE with a buy-in of $300+$20.
The ECOOP IIII Main Event will of course be the largest guaranteed by far, paying out a minimum of $1.5 million in cash to the top finishers. The buy-in to Titan Poker’s ECOOP III Main Event is charted at $1,000+$60.
Titan Poker.com is running daily satellites and qualifier tournaments with cheap buy-ins awarding seats in the massive online poker series. The time is near, but you can still earn a seat at TitanPoker if you hurry.

Mid-month is a lucrative time for members of FullTilt, when the online poker room hosts its monthly $1,000,000 guarantee poker tournament. With the biggest smile of all plastered across his face, Leandro Brasa took down the $1m GTD for a soothing 1st place prize of $184,000.
A field of 1,943 forked over the $500+35 buy-in to participate in the tournament, nearly enough to cover the full million dollar prize pool, but not quite. Full Tilt Poker has become accustomed to overlays in recent months, but you won’t hear any complaints from the players.
The top 306 finishers would see a piece of the sizeable purse, but none more so than the final tablists. “HateItOrLoveIt” was one of them, falling to the rails in 4th place for $59,000. Next to exit was “DeMaci”, whose 3rd place finish earned $74,000, leaving it to “Leandro Brasa” and “I CaioPimenta I” to battle it out for the top spot.
31 year old Leandro “Brasa” Pimentel of Brazil would eventually emerge the victor, claiming the 1st place cash of $184,000. This is just one of many online poker accomplishments for Leandro, who seems to cash for at least a 5-digit profit each month, split between various online poker rooms – Full Tilt Poker, PokerStar.com and PartyPoker among the list.
Caio Caesar “I CaioPimenta I” Pimenta, also from Brazil but quite a bit younger at 20 years of age, has seen his own fair share of online poker tournament cashes, including 3 profitable cashes worth a combined total of more than $70,000 at Full Tilt Poker since August 20, 2008. Pimenta’s 2nd place finish earned him another $113,000 to bring that total near enough to $200k.
